Day of surgery you’ll need to arrive to your appointment 90 minutes early for checking in.
After surgery you’ll typically stay in recovery for 1-2 hours or overnight, depending on the type of surgery. Once cleared by Dr. Okada, you’ll be able to head to where you’re staying to continue to rest.
Post Op Appointments
Depending on the surgery, we’ll see you the day after or up to 1 week after surgery. You’ll need to come in for a post-op appointment so Dr. Okada and see how you are healing and finalize your recovery plan
We typically schedule follow-up appointments for 1 week, 1 month, and 3-6 months after surgery. We understand if you are from out of town, coming back into town isn’t convenient so we’ll work with you and schedule virtual appointments by telehealth if that is your preference.
